After the Convent of Santo Domingo was founded, the Devil in person appeared every morning to the church members just to get in their way. The people got so used to see him they didn't pay attention. The offended devil planned a trick.
The next day the church members saw the access streets were closed by huge rocks. With the great agitation the church superior heard what was going on and went out to the huge rocks and touched them saying "Lucifer, you can't beat God" then he pushed the rocks and they fell. Then a great laughter and wing flapping was heard at the time a sulfur smell invaded the surroundings.
