They are located between the forts of Santa Clara and Santa Catalina. It is considered the last project of the colony realized within the walled city. It has 47 arches and 23 vaults. Had a military use during the colony and during the independence served as jail. After its restoration it serves as stores for handcrafts and antiques, bars and galleries.
